BUBBLEMAKER What A Great Way To Introduce Children To Scuba Diving.

The PADI Bubblemaker Experience

What a great way to introduce children to scuba diving in a pool in less than six feet of water. Celebrate a birthday or just as a special treat, a memorable, exciting Bubblemaker is great fun, easy and safe.

Prerequisites

To enrol in the Bubblemaker course:

  • No pre-training required
  • Must be at least 8 years of age
  • Being comfortable in the water
  • Before participants take part they must fill out Galaxsea's Application and Medical Forms

What You Learn

Kids get a chance to :

  • Experience what scuba diving is like under the direct care and supervision of PADI Instructors
  • Take their first breaths underwater
  • Learn about and use scuba diving equipment made for children
  • Safe diving practices

The Fun Part

Children can join in the family fun of scuba diving or even start a trend! Children should be comfortable in the water, but they don't have to be super swimmers. With children in mind, the maximum depth for this course is only 2 metres/ 6 feet.

  • Typical sessions last about an hour (sign up, gear up and fun included)
  • Experiencing weightlessness while having fun blowing bubbles!
  • Play underwater games
  • Even have races!

The Scuba Gear You Use

Children use all the basic scuba gear, which is made for their size and stature. They are given all of the necessary information to use the equipment, but a PADI Instructor is always right next to them to do most of the work (such as bouncy control).

Already have your own equipment? Maybe you have a mask or fins? GREAT! feel free to bring it along. Anything you don't have, or might need, we have here at Galaxsea.

The Learning Materials You Need

Ready to blow bubbles? Good! Then you are all set to go! There are no theory materials needed for this course. However, ask our staff when you book on about the Bubble mask crew pack, which includes a log book, information book, and certificate.

Your Next Adventure

Bubblemakers can continue the adventure to complete AquaMissions during the Seal Team program. Those who are 10-14 years old can take the Junior PADI Open Water Diver course and may want to pursue other advanced kids courses.
